3.1.1. Removing a Power Supply Module:

  • Switch off external power.

  • Unlock the latch.

  • Press lower edge tabs.

  • Pull the PSU off.

3.1.2. Installing a Power Supply Module:

  • Ensure the latch is unlocked.

  • Align connectors and latch.

  • Press down until tabs click into place.

  • Lock the latch.

3.2. Central Processing Unit (CPU)

  • Models: IC200CPU001, CPU002, CPU005.

  • Supports up to 64 modules and 2048 I/O points.

3.2.1. Run/Stop Switch:

  • Enables mode selection and memory protection control.

3.2.2. LED Diagnostics:

  • LED indicators show system status.

3.2.3. Ethernet Enabled CPU (CPUE05):

  • Ethernet port for plant network integration.

3.3. I/O Modules

3.3.1. Digital Input Module (DI):

  • Interfaces limit switches, pushbuttons, etc.

  • Green LEDs indicate input status.

  • OK LED indicates backplane power.

3.4. Digital Output Module (DO):

  • Interfaces valves, alarms, etc.

  • Green LEDs indicate output status.

  • FLD PWR and OK LEDs show field and backplane power.

3.5. Analog Input Module (AI):

  • Interfaces analog transmitters and detectors.

  • OK LED shows power and recognition.

  • Reports internal power faults and open wire faults.
