The IFM IE5388 is a compact cylindrical inductive proximity sensor designed for precise metal detection in space-constrained industrial applications. With a sensing range of 2 mm and a robust M8 × 1 brass housing, it is ideal for integration into tight spaces where traditional sensors may not fit. Operating within a voltage range of 10–36 V DC, the sensor features a normally closed (NC) PNP output, ensuring reliable performance in various control systems.
