The IFM KI5052 is a cylindrical capacitive proximity sensor designed for reliable detection of non-metallic and metallic objects in industrial automation applications. With a sensing range of 15 mm and a robust M30 × 1.5 threaded housing, it is suitable for integration into various machinery and equipment. The sensor operates on a 10–55 V DC supply and features a PNP output that can be configured as normally open (NO) or normally closed (NC), providing flexibility for different control systems. Its IP65 rating ensures protection against dust and water ingress, making it ideal for use in harsh environments. The KI5052 also offers increased immunity to conducted radio frequency interference, ensuring stable operation in electrically noisy conditions.​
