The Keyence LR-W500C is a compact, self-contained full-spectrum laser sensor designed for precise distance measurement in industrial automation applications. It features a rectangular form factor with an M12 4-pin connector, offering a detection range from 30 mm to 500 mm. The sensor utilizes a white LED light source and provides an adjustable spot size, with approximate diameters of 3.5 mm at 100 mm, 9 mm at 250 mm, and 18 mm at 500 mm. With selectable response times of 200 µs, 1 ms, 10 ms, 100 ms, and 500 ms, it offers flexibility to meet various application needs. The LR-W500C supports both NPN and PNP open collector control outputs and features a mutual interference reduction function, allowing up to two units to operate simultaneously when alternate frequencies are set.
