It detects UV radiation emitted by flames, providing essential safety monitoring for gas, oil, or coal-fired burners. The sensor features a rugged, encapsulated sensing tube housed in a corrosion-resistant 303 stainless steel casing, ensuring durability in harsh environments. Its compact size allows for easy mounting on standard 1/2-inch sighting pipes using the integral collar, making it suitable for blast tube installations. The C7027A1023 operates effectively within an ambient temperature range of 0°F to 215°F (-18°C to +102°C) and can withstand pressures up to 5 psi (34.5 kPa) when correctly installed. It is compatible with various Honeywell flame amplifiers, including R7249A/B, R7849A/B, R7749B, R7259, and R7290 models, ensuring versatile integration into existing systems.
