The IFM IG5953 is a high-performance inductive proximity sensor designed for industrial automation applications. Featuring a robust M18 x 1 threaded brass housing with white bronze coating, it offers an 8 mm sensing range and operates within a wide voltage range of 10 to 36 V DC. The sensor supports both PNP and NPN output configurations, selectable between normally open and normally closed modes. With a switching frequency of up to 400 Hz and a protection rating of IP68, it ensures reliable performance even in harsh environments. The sensor is equipped with gold-plated M12 connectors and includes two lock nuts for secure mounting.
